LA ISLA IMAGINARIA

La Isla Imaginaria is a series of paintings born from paintings made by others.

Originally, these canvases were created during a “painting therapy” workshop. Donated to the artist Giambaccio by a friend, and painted by unknown authors, they became the starting point for a strange and playful imaginary journey — a therapy born from another therapy.

Giambaccio reworked and recombined their elements, trying to preserve the original compositions and the spirit of their origins, while adding the visions, colours and emotions of his own journey on the island.

Giambaccio is a Florentine painter who landed in Ibiza in March 2025 and established his studio in the north of the island. This special and unconventional project is being hosted by the iconic restaurant La Paloma and will be open until October 25th.

After two years spent on the island, Giambaccio will soon set sail for new adventures.

This is a small, special exhibition and sale — a way for Giambaccio to say thank you to Ibiza.
